2023 Poetry in the Gardens

Alexandria Manalo is a local South Sound poet known as Poetic Presence. Over the past four years, she has enjoyed partnering with the Pacific Bonsai Museum during Bonsai Fest and Bonsai Solstice events to craft free custom poems for event participants. In her previous life as a high school English teacher, she made literature and poetry come alive for her students through creative workshops and interactive lessons. Alexandria’s poems explore the intersection of Human Nature and the natural world and reveal her calling to create, contribute, connect, and inspire through engaging her poetic tools and talents. Whether sharing her insights via spoken word, written word, or deep conversations, Alexandria actively supports community literary groups with an authentic, original voice of appreciation.
