2023 Poetry in the Gardens

Sayde Heron is a Tacoma native and single mother of 3 who loves to adventure in the wilds of the Pacific Northwest. She holds a B.A. in English and she was the English Scholar of the year at Long Island University. She works at the City of Tacoma in Environmental Services and spends her free time paddling on the Salish Sea, camping in the Hoh rainforest, and snuggling cats.
