Listen to the Art Talk with Travis Frazelle

The inspiration for Travis Frazelle's work comes directly from his keen observation and perception of the immediate natural world around him, especially in relationship with humanity. When Travis paints he aims to give it a compelling story, style, and painting technique that adds to the already vibrant subject matter. His career has been an exploration, combining realism and abstraction so his viewers know it's a painting and not a photograph but is not unrelatable. Travis' work flourishes somewhere in between both. He never wants to be considered a realist or an abstract painter only, pulling his favorite qualities from each art form and combining them into one finished piece.
