Poetry in the Gardens

Experience the Vibrant Literary Arts Community in South Puget Sound!

Each year, Lakewold invites local poets to submit original poems to the Winter Garden Poetry competition to be included in the Poetry in the Gardens self-guided tour. Between March and through the end of summer, Lakewold guests can listen to the poetry as they wander the gardens.

Signs with QR codes have been intentionally placed throughout the property. Simply scan the code using your phone's camera and listen to the poems read by their authors as you enjoy the natural beauty of Lakewold Gardens. A map of the sign locations is available at admissions.
